Taggu never handles customer funds directly.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a regulated payment provider.
2. Users
Customers: May scan a QR code or tap an NFC wristband to access a Stripe checkout page to send tips.
venues and Staff: Must provide accurate payout details to receive funds via Stripe.
3. Fees
Taggu applies an administration fee (e.g., 10%) to each tip. This fee is deducted automatically by Stripe’s system.
Taggu does not directly collect, hold, or distribute funds.
4. Responsibilities
Taggu: Provides the technology platform.
Stripe: Handles all payment authorisation, processing, and settlement.
Venues: Responsible for ensuring staff accounts are correctly linked.
Staff: Responsible for providing accurate payout details via Stripe.
5. Misuse
You agree not to misuse Taggu, including fraudulent use, cloning wristbands, or attempting to bypass Stripe systems.
6. Liability
taggu is not responsible for authorising payments, storing funds, or providing banking services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taggu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
